This well balance Robert Rauschenberg lithograph is a very nice example of the artist’s use of collage. One of the most important artists from the American Pop Art movement, Rauschenberg utilizes imagery from magazines, periodicals, and advertisements. The soft palette of this composition alludes to photographic washes and negatives, something Rauschenberg worked with a lot.
